An artist collective centered on accessible art, inclusivity, embracing the alternative, and building community.
as artists, we have always been on the lookout for other creatives. now we're venturing to curate a space here in lexington where creatives thrive and have easy access to artistic resources, opportunities, and a community of welcoming individuals looking to continue to learn new things and grow.

currently, the collective consists of maddie erley and ethan hall, the owners and artists behind cathedral collective. for now, we're operating just as a private tattoo studio where we prioritize safety, acceptance, patience, and kindness. our founding priority is to make our studio as accessible and welcoming as possible. we started tattooing last year and have been so incredibly lucky to have created the kind of community that we weren't even sure existed in real life. we are consistently amazed with the kindness and generosity of our clients and friends and were inspired to take this a step (or ten) further.

our plans for the future extend far beyond your typical tattoo shop. in the near future, we're looking to bring on a few new tattoo artists, one or two piercers, and, eventually, we intend to create a full-blown makers' space, complete with plenty of materials, experienced artists to teach classes, and connections to just about any type of artist you can imagine.
